Thanks for everyone's effort and i hope we learned something.
There is really nothing to be upset about, your game went well and the scores are clearly very tight. We discussed how it would go in advance to let you be mentally prepared and the tournament will not be delayed because of you. So I hope we can finish this game without anyone feeling unhappy about the tournament.

Gilafron - do you feel like starting another one and providing the score after 30 days? If you don't feel like playing some speed_up_ed game then i forfeit and wish you have some nice and close games for the rest of the tourney - hehe.

Ok, it was a rather quick elaboration between the judges. It was decided that the initial solution of a 1 month replay (new match) to decided the winner, if the scores are very close, stands.
You now have 2 choices:
1)
Gilafron wins the match because his score is 5% higher.ÂYou host a new match and have 30 days to accumulate as high score as possible, or eliminate your opponent, to decide the winner.2) You decide between yourself who want to forfeit the game.Â

i'll be home from work after 4 hours and it would be nice to have some clear instructions on what to do, sorry judges that it's another of my matches that you have to consider..
It would be very sad to decide such an evenly matched combat with a coin flip or one person surrendering.
Therefor we are discussing among the judges to let you continue to play this match for 30 days more, which would take you to turn 80 (1 turn per day) and surely a winner can then be decided!

water-walking invisible units made me stay close to home and my early towns/fortresses got canceled a lot

we have the fenix hero going on so i wonder if those can get you but maybe that is just a lot of wishful thinking for me. I did a lot of stupid scouting and i lost tons of units 1 by 1 and i'm fine with droping out of the tournament to be honest. This is a nice game and i'd like to finish it (outside of the Tournament is also perfectly fine for me). So let's do it like this - if we can't have a clear winner by the normal end - i drop out. 1 month will mess all the time tables - but thanks judges for making big decisions upfront and being ready.
I have to go offline for the next 2 days - my brother's birthday, so going to the mountin site and back on sunday.
The current round ends on 2017-05-31 9:19 AM. I think you both know the procedure but to remind you: if it's the turn of the 2nd player, then he plays his turn, saves & quits, backs up the save, then surrenders and takes screenshots of the score and sends to judges.
If it's the turn of the 1st player, he plays his turn, sends it to the 2nd player, who then does as stated above. That way a full turn is played.
anyway - it was the map that dictated our behavior here - not much fighting and a lot of possitioning and just scouting wars, so blame the RNG (: i love this kind of games and i really wanted to see who is going to get T4 class units first, seems it's going to be giants vs snakes and not dendroids vs flying spaghetti monsters
p.s. i'm not at all sure if any of us knows how to play for points.. it may be my 2nd game where this decision comes up and i'm kinda feeling guilty ):

30 other players participate in the tournament and they do not want to wait for other players. We've seen in past tournaments that waiting too long to complete a tournament meant we lost key players along the way so we're not going to change that, sorry.
20 days is more than enough to finish your game. That should be at a minimum 20 turns and duel games lasting more than 50 turns are pretty rare.

i want to be able to play my games at whatever pace is tactically best for me ): we're getting better at the game and now rushes are not that good as the balance is improved and the players are better...
What turn did you reach?
