https://imgur.com/a/P9UG6 great game with a great player - i had to move fast and there was a nice battle to take a dragon dwell protected by 2 ice dragons and ~10 little ones. it also had a raven to trigger autocombat ): economy and gold upkeep was the way to win, as it is the case with rogues after the update/balance with upkeep of units under mind control x2.
Yes, I had to surrender because of lack of gold and so 4 my T3 units with gold medals deserted.  Good game and kind rush from you.  Especially it was very clever to use stack with 5 ravens to kill mine one  which was protecting the dragon dwelling. I made at least 1 mistake at this game - I shouldn't take a quest from my second city with a vassal as a reward when I was too far from from it. Thus I got less resources and this city was not growing very long time. Though maybe I shouldn't go such early to the third city at all Â
i use the debug mode (; Hiliadan told me to (or some other judge, or maybe Jean..) we might be at turn 13 only but we may not go to turn 20 - hehe aahh - i remember a game where i managed to end an opponent at turn 6-ish
we managed to find one another and we know now that we're in a mirror match!
The other problem is a bit harder to understand, but could be some kind of desync error. I would post this one in the forum, because it sounds very strange, that both of you keep getting this error.

Skuns reffers to - i'm using the mode as on the link i send. i deleted all old mode files just 1 hour ago and subscribed again so i guess the files i use now are brand new and whatever the mode needs is downloaded.. . but i still get the msg. that says my mode is a newer version.

Since I understand you already started the turn, got a crash, reinstalled the mod, you might need to clear your PBEM save folder (C:\Users\marcu_000\Documents\My Games\AoW3\Profiles\marcuspers1\PBEM) and look for the game ID which is your tournament match, and delete all the files with that ID (should be 3 files with a 5 digit number).
By the way, every time after your turn I got the message about updating current version of the mod. And when I'd clicked on the button "Yes" and played my turn, at the every next turn I got the same notification)) So it seems like your version of the mod was not directly from the server (maybe it was the intermediate version of the beta mod which Hiliadan created recently before its update). And you need delete user files, as Hiliadan said, before resubscribing the mod.
P.S. While you have troubles with the mod I turned off the timer again))
just did - the issue is with missing different race pictures when using the beta - how can i install the beta of the balance mode again?
about the whole game: steam has this thing where it checks what files are missing and it repairs a game by downloading whatever is needed so i did that and i tested it - it's working.
this stupid tuneup program seeks out same files and frees up .. resources by deleting dublicates - i should have used brain and not just click ok when asked but anyway ):
i'll go check steam on info how to re-install my mode and test again

i kinda risked a ... (somewhat) fast attack that might have ruined Skuns economy ): I got lucky as always
it was a nice game with good pace, we did 2-3 turns per day at some days (; but we never did a big battle
the most enjoyable moment was (for me) when i realized we're both having the same race/class combo
