had a bad location and decided to not clear too much but rush to the middle while spending xp for the martyrs. found a dragon dwell on 1/2 way to my oponent and moved there while doing the second town quest for a pike unit. there was a tavern that i used for another cavalry (elf) + elf archer and managed to arrive in time to do my dragon dwell quest for 1 fire wyrm. couldn't beat my opponent's quest army put positioned my self in such a way that Ilaanor could do his quest but not attack me OR attack me but not do the quest (if my calc with movement over mountains was correct.. not 100% sure) He choose neither (which is good - unpredictability is a nice trait) - i started summoning Hell Hounds (2) and used the trick to move the hero + summon the hound close enough to get his town (he build it with settler). razed succesfully 2 turns later. I scouted the capitol and had a lucky win vs a lightning snake and Exalted were on their way + some more army (around 20 units, while keeping only 2 units to guard the capitol... all in at this point) this was enough to get the win - didn't intent to make a rush, it just happened

Good start for me, but fail on the crucial moment - meeting at the lake as my army was weaker and i didnt want to attack Xlnts stack as it was syronger. Then made a bad decision to move my leader out of way instead of bringing ally units together. And then did terrible three turns so it was pointless to continue. Anyway need to focus on animals. :-)
