The slow moving DK has long research paths to units that provide no tactical advantage. I had no idea how to beat a Sorc and playing the game revealed nothing too. To get a dwelling and boost it can't be done too quickly and not all dwellings are Fey, sometimes you get Naga 

also DreadReapr is too good to play against casually and (try to) learn new tactics ): at least i made towns to see what a more economical approach would be like.

that game that was restarted - i can't get it to start, some error message saying the game files are corrupt

maybe we have to make a new one - not just hit the re-start button

i see no point in reporting a game that was 1 turn long, we should make a rule to have a restart at t1 maybe

make a new game, i want to test DK, it's the worst class for me, mind control or not

But isn't that part of the balance - like AD and WL have bad scouts so they get some water_walk.
I felt very bad having to cross the map with 28MP pikemen but if there was no water those could have been knocking at the Rogue's door before the Rogue could have counters. So the player is forced to mix some banshee stacks that can fly.
Let's have a game on land and then i can understand your point better. I feel like the slow, land walking only machines of the DK will have more help if the map is only land... it will be fun to fight the fast fly-ing invincible army of a Sorc. Probably build road will be very important. I still feel like cutting water off removes a lot from the game but i want to understand your point of view.

Imo continents is really bad map type for class balance Bcz it gives more advantage for flying,swiming units

k - i'll go DK, never considered shamans as quick unit to mass produce and stop Phantoms but you're right

p.s. i just saw you want all land? not to say it's stupid or anything but it's not something we have ever done  

any explanation? we always go continents for tournaments and i always play on tournament rules

AD is the perfect counter to sorcerer, shamans counter phantoms and serpents and has high resistance to stun and as for late game hornet gods rape horrors. So me going sorcerer will be hard

will set the game up after 4-5 hours after i'm back home from work.

so what would you prefer - AD with nice mobility and possible longer game go to units like the Walking Tree or Theo with stronger options but lacking mobility in the early game thus allowing the opponent to do what you did in our game vs my necro - keep it under constant threat and mostly locked? Theo would eventually get Exalted and Shrines but still.

I'll go with AD and would like to test a game vs Sorc - i do believe AD is the worst class and i would love to ask you to be the underdog and prove to me it can win but i am terrible with Sorc

I'll pick a race that provides some bonuses vs physical and try to steer away from lightning dmg. as the game of necro vs rogue thought me a lesson..

What do you thing of the building that let's you get items? I was making plans to equip my hero with some fire/spirit dmg. and try to stop your shadow elementals with the hero/s alone (with whatever army as AI fodder, pikemen and bone horrors)

you said you posted your settings and i expected race/class for me to play so you can test something against it but i see only the tournament map/game settings (with some minor adjustments)

are you going to ask for specific class? with no mind control i would like to test how AD is doing and maybe what is up with DK. i suspect Sorc is better now but i suck at playing sorc, so maybe you can try playing that?
