Hi! After looking at the scores, judges decided to give the victory to Ezekiel. The scores were quite tight but he led most and had a decisive lead in military.
Please update the class/race in the report and prepare for round 2. I'm posting in your respective game blogs to launch your round 2 games.

Ok, so here are the instructions:
1/ AFTER the deadline, the strategic turn is played until the last player in the turn order
2/ that player plays his turn, saves & quits, copy the save game to a backup folder
3/ that player re-enters the game and surrenders, then takes screenshots of all the scores (general, domain, research, military, happiness) . He does NOT end the turn. Instead he quits the game without ending the turn.
4/ he sends the screenshots to judges (Marcuspers, Jonny Thunder and me)
5/ judges check the scores and take a decision

So no revert involved (except after, if you want to still continue the game for fun).

And sorry for not anticipating, time flies, I thought your game still had a few days before the deadline...

Hi. Unfortunately we did not get much further. I don't think a few more days will help us.
Not sure how the winner is going to be determined exactly, but I suspect the winner will be Ezekiel, with him being the more experienced player. I would like to know if it is possible to continue the game after the winner has been determined. If so, I would like to finish the game regardless of the rest of the tournament.

Hi! What turn did you reach? Exceptionally, as it's complicated to move the end of the round for everyone (as I want it to coincide with the release of Planetfall on 6 August), your match - and your match alone - receives +1 week to try to be completed, to take into account the holidays season and the fact that Ezekiel was away for 3 weeks.
I hope that'll move you closer to the end of the match.
So your deadline is 2019-08-13 10:22 PM (GMT+3 if I'm not mistaken).

Yeah, we got off to a late start. I don't think we're gonna finish on time. Maybe we can pick a day this week (not wednesday) where we can back and forth a few turns to speed things up. I am generally able to manage my time to make that possible.

Hi! There are only 9 days left to complete the game, please prioritize this tournament game compared to others (and for Ezekiel, the 2vs2 is probably a higher priority before this one).
You might have a small time extension due to the summer holidays but not sure yet.

We are on turn 17-18.  Having holidays for the next 3 weeks (minus 2-3 days) - will take turns occasionally but not as often as usually (had some days with multiple turns). Cheers.

And yes, upload sometimes fails but it doesn't cause reload notification.

It may be because I am at my inlaws' house where the connection is not as good, still I did not expect sending gamefiles like this would be too much.

I remember now why I am not a big fan of multiplay...

You need to wait for the greenlight of judges before starting any tournament matches, Ezekiel knows that very well so you shouldn't have started.

You may not care about Omen of the Doves in theory but not starting at war causes a number of issues, including unbalancing alignment strategies (as declaring war gives evil alignment) so it is necessary to re-host if you didn't start at war.
And if Ezekiel did start on slot #2, it means all his screenshots were fake?

Ah man, really? I already finished turn 3 and my leader is still alive!
I'm sure Ezekiel is in the second slot, because I started the match.
Not sure about teams cause I haven't checked diplomacy.
Doesn't that mean that you know your opponent's class/race from the get go?
I don't care about omen of the dove really.

Hi! 2 issues with the settings:
1/ Ezekiel needs to be in slot #2 (see rules)
2/ You are not starting as teams which means you do not start at war.

Issue #2 is major as if there is an Omen of the Dove when you want to engage, you won't and that will cause a lot of problems.

So please rehost.
Also, please take screenshots in windowed mode so that we can see the timestamp.
