Nice game with tournament settings. Both of us knew the class from the other one so it was an advantage for me to choose tigrans against the theocrat. Novo is pretty good with the theo but lost in due to some misplacement. First clash with our leaders is here. I hesitated a long time until I decided to attack 6 vs 9. My leader is level 13, necromancer level 9 and AD level 5 or 6. Novo's leader is level 9 and the hero is level 4 or 5 as I remember.
Tough battle but I could have won way better. My leader fled but could have eaten a lot of corpses like my necromancer but not even one corpse was eaten. After the battle 2 berserker and a sun guard finished the crusader and joinded the party of my leader.
After the battle I retreated to gain HP. The a quest of an independent city was aborted two turns later so I expected Novo's 1st hero with another stack there. I gathered some troops and found him. He decided to attack and was unlucky that my leader did a critical hit with the sirens wail in turn 1 doing about 105 damage. :-) Additionally the mammoths did some strange behaviour. Instead of using the devasting charge they positioned themselves some hexex in front of my units in defence mode.
After that battle Novo surrendered.

I attacked his leader and lost badly. I had better number, better tier. but not so good army vs warlord and lower level hero not leader. 2 siren wail and pounce crushed my army so easy. Maybe I had to give up that city. with that lost, the game saied still I had more army. but most of them are converted ones and need a lot wage. can't afford them if I lost my high ranked army.
