Great match!, I started fast, trying to finish the game with an Warlord attack, but it took me way too many turns to get to his main, and that's when I destroyed some of his main cities, I got to greedy and got my party killed instead of heading back after the harassment. I agree, if he had attacked me at that moment, I would've been in trouble, since I only had 3 cities and no vassals.
At the beginning there was a city in the underground that we were contesting for quite a while, I think we both lost important amount of units there, eventually I decided to raze it because It was too far from my main to keep supporting the attack and Refineus killed most of my units in that area.
It was a long but fun match... when my initial attack failed, I realized that refineus had a much better economy than mine, he had more cities and more domain, so I went back to my cities to try to expand, eventually we probably took about 20 turns with no attacks or anything and I started to get worried, that's when I started to march 2 stacks with 4-5 manticores to his main, a third stack with 2 manticores and some tier 3 units was marching from other side to try to take some of his cities. That's when I saw his 3 stacks disembarking next to my main, I thought it was over, but, I had swift migration, so my plan was to trade spots lol... to take his cities with the armies I had underground. while doing this I was building more troops to slow down his progress in my main and give me some time to attack him...
I agree I was very lucky to kill his leader, I had a party of 2 manticores and 4 shocktroopers and he had a fully loaded tier 3 party with phalanx, priests and earth elementals, but he had the party with his leader in front, so I crossed my fingers and attacked him, getting only his leader an maybe one unit or two. at that point I was very close to his main which I assumed was undefended, so I rushed there before the 3 turns and took it.
Interesting game, I had a little rough start, but it got better. Had a very nice starting position, with very few exits, but since I'm underground and being a Dwarf little matter.
The game started around after I lost my leader first time when out of a position where I tried to save a city far to the east. It got burned down eventually. The real struggle came when Dr light came a second time with Orc Shocktroopers. I lost 2 cites and a main. I was thinking that it was decided. But I had 3 dwellings, a Frostling city and Tigran city. So I demanded 5 tributes of gold and hurried production on war breeds, phalanxes and priests. So I managed to get two full stacks by two turns and beat the doom stack that came. The problem here was that became slacking. I did not counter attack, I was expecting Dr light to be ahead of me by now. So I built a fort Knox.
Then I to move a little later with 4 stacks with one coming up behind. While leaving defenders at home. I came to Dr light throne and plundered it. However, I got a little distracted by a break-in and sent defenders over there leaving my throne very vulnerable, meanwhile Dr light got extremely lucky managing to take out my leader. He got taken out by a bunch of Manticores.
Great game, lost due to being way to greedy and misread the situation a little.
I will print screen can be interesting. I had a very nice comeback midgame. But pressed to hard by being greedy in the end. Had 4 stack but left out one hero to take out one fort...
I won... I don't feel good about this victory, you were having a good run in my main territory, but my army was in yours, I guess it was like a race to see who would get the main city first... When I saw your army I moved my throne at that moment, I knew there was no way I could stop you, just delay your army as much as possible until mine hit your main city... then when you had your leader in front of your army, I had to take the chance of sending my manticores and cross my fingers that I would kill him... So I guess I was very lucky there.
I couldn't see the statistics, I accidentally hit end turn before, can you print screen them? I'm thinking that you were ahead of me, at least at the end game.
I always knew that north was going to be my downfall, I had literally zero vision... =( At some point I was going to build a tower, and then I forgot. haha
Wow! that was a nice turn for you!, I thought I cornered my troops too badly, I asked too much out of them... very nice comeback! now I'm in trouble! =(
Haha, yeah, I felt really bad by doing that, but luckily I had good vision with my eagles... I had to take that shot, otherwise I would've lost if you had the chance of gathering your army at the city... haha sorry!!

Edit I reported a win!!! Should be a loss for me.
You were right.
Congratulations taking my throne. I had my defenses little to far away and my main stacks on the other side of the map :-)
I must say that Orc Warlord is damm hard to counter with a Dwarf. Except for phalanxes and firstborns and priest combined.

I must say that the timing of finishing "Mono Culture" came in the exact right moment. More troops for me.
P.s very sneaky to dig through the rock walls with a dwarf in your stack.
