Game #1299 | 2 vs 2

Very well played Blad!, You basically killed us in 2vs1... 

I can't really say I had a bad start here, it was actually pretty decent, the problem I had is that for some reason all my first summons were spiders so I could never level up a snake and only really got to a single spider queen. Refineus was ug and I was on the surface, but there wasn't a cave entrance very close to us, so his domain was ridiculously far, it was just impossible to get support from each other when Blad decided to attack us. I did Halfling AD. From very early in the game I could see Blad scouting us, that gave me a bad felling from the get go, I thought he had too many resources to keep sending scouts to their deaths, also, he was able to spot my domain very early in the game and my scouting wasn't so great, so I could never find him nor Rippjack. In reality, I think that was basically what made us lose the game, the fact that we didn't know where he was, I couldn't really create momentum on my main stack to move in certain direction and take structures. I didn't want to go too far because I knew he was nearby, so I lost a lot of pontential exp because I just sit there waiting for Blad.

Nice game everyone. Blad was the clear winner here as I had an awful start and lost my early hero, army, and leader in combat before T10. But Blad helped me out with resources and advice and I was finally able to get some momentum going late in the game. Unfortunately, it was too late for me to contribute anything but I learned a lot so the playing time was still of value. Thanks Blad, for your patience with me and to everyone else for playing!

In general, I probably suffered the most in the beginning. I lost my leader due to a silly mistake against some pikemen underestimating their power and then the game really was terrible as I could not expand so well. My vassal city started with me in war state and all my starting forces were not so healthy as I expected and got killed eventually by approaching an Air node too early. Elementals and wisps wiped them out.

My experience with the Orcs melee. Nah.. Expected Novo's Apprentice to carry me from a point where I was lacking.

I have seen better games, but this one was not mine at all. I should not have started underground to begin with. Then all those TIER IV snakes came and Orcs were doomed. Then Dr Light blocked my throne city with a Bear so the final battle became outside walls. 

GG Blad. Never saw Rippjack in this game.

I think this game is going to be over soon anyway, so don't worry Rippjack... also, Refineus usually takes vacations from gaming during the holidays... you play when you play, we are patient people haha, just don't quit

Hi All,

I will be in quarantine this week as I did an international trip, I don't have access to my personal PC and somehow I can't connect to the server through my work laptop, I guess the company firewall is preventing me from doing so. If I find a way to log in and take my turn I will, otherwise, I will take my turn probably next week after I get tested and go back home.
