The match-up is not the most fair, but I think we had a good game. Gilafron had some (or many) unlucky moments, at the secondary city and at the one built in the northeast, which was erected just as I accidentially arrived in that area of the map.
As mentioned this was not the most fair game I have ever played, but I finally used the sorceror for what it is worth and harassing wisps are just more effective against brutish meelee-hitting orcs than against necromancers or theocrats, or draconians/goblins which would have fried them with elemental damage.
Those buggers arrived at the vassal of Gilafron at the same time as I was returning from the detour from the north gathering experience for my leader and her necro companion. And with two of those victory against the orc irregular was quite certain. Another summon next turn allowed me to raze the town without disturbance, probably as Gilafron had his leader in the north clearing for the building of Sardorr.
The battle at Zardorr, was at least as unfair as the final battle, but probably more decisive in the end.
Here´s the final battle, as mentioned it was quite unfair - I actually didn´t check the replay, my leader got out with 1 HP.
In order to avoid advantaging one team or the other, for each match, the team who will host the match was randomly selected. The first team in the "turn order" above (who is also the team on top in the tree here must host the game.
Any of the players in the team can host. The host must play in #2 position in the turn order (please check rules for more details). Tournament Game #1 Round 1 !
When players do not show up for their match, the Tournament Judges have the right to change the match!
Hi Eskild! I answered to you in the chat, the Tournament size is after the Extra Large size. Please check you updated to v1.2 on the main branch of the balance mod and then you should see it. No need for Extended settings or any other mod.
I tried starting twice and got AoW3 stopped working messages each time. Â The first time I load, I only had the balance mod. Â Second time, I had balance mod and extended settings.
