Yep, it would have been better to attack at the surface. Attacking dwarves in the UG is always a bad decision and my knights hate the terrain. Bad move of mine.

Yes, agree with Kruel - it was interesting and competitive match. The map was bad at both layers as for me. Though it gave good advantage for the opposing team.  And I was afraid starting to spam monster hunters at every moment   Once again I convinced how strong is Theo class in skillful hands even without MC ability. And it was a big mistake from our opponents to let Kruel to grow up. Also I think that it was El Lobo's huge mistake not to go to my domain instead of Kruel's one. You had a good opportunity to clamp me in a vice from 2 flanks and maybe eliminate of mine.    But you didn't do it and that decided the outcome of this session. 
Anyways I wish to opponent's team good luck in a tourney.
@Kruel  I was glad to play as your teammate <smiletext0> Thanks for the great game. I know this game was rather the exception. But I liked it and hope to be your teammate in the future <smiletext23>

Great game guys, that was really tough. Put a lot of effort into those turns, and it made for a very challenging and enjoyable match.

Sounds a bit unlucky about the research El Lobo, sorry to hear that. If you put full focus on Rogue Empire Upgrade research though, I feel like you could get it a bit faster than Turn 27, even if it showed up the latest possible. I suppose you could try casting the spell that resets research options as well, but I can't say that I've used that either as it doesn't feel worth the mana and CP.

Was lucky on our part to get Summon Bone Dragon from the Forbidden Sanctum as well. Got air elemental from clearing the second one, though I didn't get a chance to summon any of those.

Warlord spamming Raise Militia is quite annoying to fight against. So many defenders spring up so quickly.

I was hoping to see some clashes between Skuns and Earl, they would have been interesting battles, but it was an understandable time to end it.

I see you guys won your round 1 in the 2v2 tourney. How is round 2 going vs Jean and Hellbrick? Would be quite the accomplishment to beat those 2, good luck!

I am out of this game in turn 37. I don't think Earl can beat both of you at this stage of the game so congrats to Skuns and Kruel. I was quite confident around turn 10-15 when I got 5 elite scoundels but I was very unlucky with the corrupted killers research. I got it in turn 27 and "wasted" about 900 RP getting it. That really slowed me down and of course with the lesser shadow elementals I could have cleared much stronger sites. That's the risk I took with the evolving strategy and this time it did not work.

Is everything ok? If you need more time to play your (last?  ) turn, I can turn off the timer. Otherwise you'll skip your turn because it's left 23 hours. And then you can't help to your team

Yeah that's a tough clear, but what is it, a Forbidden Sanctum? Those aren't exactly supposed to be easy.

I'm not particularly used to strong defenders either, but it does mean the fights are a nice challenge. Medium defenders are too easy but many strong sites do seem a bit difficult for awhile.

@Earl  I'm not sure what you mean. I chose strong defenders mode so it shouldn't be easy to clear such sites)) And I think that such defenders set is strong but normal for balance mod. Anyways I'm not the author of all mods we use for this game. So I can only commiserate to your problem with this site <smiletext1>

Sorry guys, the game crashed on me during the last turn. My fights were quite trivial, I had done about half the turn then closed the game to save as my food was nearly ready, but I was chatting with Skuns about the game, and I reopened to check something quickly. However I soon got distracted by my food, and plugged my laptop into my tv with an hdmi cable to watch some youtube videos with lunch. Unfortunately I forgot to exit the game before doing so. I don't think I did anything other than look at the map, but it still counted as a restart.

I've posted a screenshot showing the grey screen crash, but I'm not entirely sure what this proves.

I really wish AoW3 didn't crash so easily, as with Ironman being such an important aspect of PBEM, we could do with a lot less sensitive/buggy program.
