For the 1st one, there is only one seat left (and not even sure, as SeeR is used to open his games to external players, not on the BF).

So I have had quite a look through all the mods and got creative with designing …
not one , not two , but THREE very unique PBEM 2v2v2v2 Matches.

Each game uses a different set of between about 8 and 10 different mods.

Thematically Designed for stylistically different and incredibly unique PBEM experience.

They are all up and HOSTED already , but you will have to get a hold of me either via steam or on the battlefield website in order to be given the PRECIOUS password to whichever particular game catches your fancy.

* NOTES TO POTENTIAL PLAYERS WISHING TO JOIN.

A. You will likely NEED to be a steam user in order to be able to ** SUBSCRIBE ** to all these MODS.

B. It will be a slight PAIN in ASS turning on and off the MODS everytime you have to play your TURN , so if that’s a problem for you or you do not know how to manage your subscribed mods then you need to either figure that out (really not that difficult) or just not bother to join these FANCY pbem experiences.

C. Although once can never be certain , these are potentially going to be those VERY LONG EPIC type game that can drag out for a significant amount of time , Turn timer will be flexible , but you need to communicate to the host for any absence of note, and as well its a good idea to talk to your partner frequently over the course of the match.

D. there’s probably something else important to say , but it eludes me at the moment ….. oh yes , occasionally enjoy a glass of your favourite __________ while playing your turn.

I already posted that on the PBEM Tournament Player Pool without much success, so I post it here, hoping to get more answers. Without more inputs from the community, we will not be able to build an effective mod. That would be a shame because there are clearly huge imbalances in the game right now and they need to be fixed if we want to have fun games.


As you know, there is currently several balance discussions ongoing, some dedicated to Conversion, others to Necro, others to balance issues outside conversion & Necro, a last one to XP farming. There is also a more general discussion about the settings of the next PBEM tournament.
On the "other balance issues" discussion (which suppose that other issues, linked to conversion, XP farming, Necro, etc. are all solved), I checked the opinions of everyone so far and here are the changes that get at least 3 approvals and no disagreement. I flagged them as “Priority changes” and highlighted them in yellow in the table.

I've set up an 3 vs 3 game on the AoW 3 servers, but not via this site.  
I sometimes do this to meet other people as well, but anyone that is interested can join up ofcourse.

I created a game where mind controlling is almost gone.
Game is called: No mind control.

You are restricted to play with a Warlord, Sorceror or Dreadnought and you only have your leader as a hero. 

Join up if you want to give this a try.

@all: I forgot 2 mentions 2 other interesting features of the site:
- you can rate players (obviously AFTER having played with them). There is a direct link in the match report, and you can also go to their page (e.g. by clicking on their name on the list of players in the pool or any given game, or on the chat) to do so. That provides feedback for the community on the skills and fairness of everyone.
- you can see the latest matches of a player by going to his page and going to the "Results" tab. There, you can see all the class / race he played, which may be interesting to plan your next match against him!

@DreadReapR: did you report your bug to the dev? It's pretty weird, I had never heard of something similar before. You should not drop PBEM because of that.

The basic idea is that you set your timezone and the time where you are the most likely to play your turn (playtime) and then it is displayed in each of your game and an automatic tool propose the best turn order.

You can discuss with other players and check the latest notifications, with 3 tabs:
* General with chat & notifications
* Chat only: only chat message

I encourage people to create new games (Games / Create Game) and post the link here, with some of the new players who arrive recently, it's likely to fill up quickly.

Also, we let you all know that the team A Song of Blight and Ice has been set up!! It's AlXStormrage, Eskild and I! We plan to defy either team Hawks, or the Germans (Markymark, EarL, Gladis, Blackcat) or the Italians (Fistandantilus, Warlord Keldon, Tasslehoff, Mr Hawk) in the next few months (I lack time right now).
