I think the T4 are fairly priced, except the dragons which seems a bit too cheap.

In regards to buy a cheap unit that can be evolved, I think that's a fair strategy. You have a choice to have a t3 with zero or one medal, or you can have 6 t3/t4 with gold medal.

You could in theory buy 6 hatchlings evolve them to gold and be lucky to get 6 t2-t3, but I don't think that's a strategy that will work!

there is another issue.
You can use the upgrades to developing units to a highter tier.
Use baby spin to get a spin, use rider to get knights and so on. 
not known if player shall use it.

I would make horned god a little bit more expensive, seems a bit op to me

it is possible to cast 1 or 2 elementals with 750 mana. I think it can be a good reinforcement for your units. it costs research points, but i think it can be better to use gold only for 15 units and cast 2 units

Hi Markymark, 
i don't follow 100% as the summons are now counted in gold, and not mana. So in theory you should be able to create your summoned units, to summon items it wasn't anything i trialled, so it might be possible, but i wouldn't worry about it as all spells are researched  and you don't need to worry about specific skills.

There is 6 pillar of upgrade in the UG, so you can level up at least 6 units to gold medal. As you start with 250 gold, after taking two stash of gold you actually have 1750 gold, so let have that as the upper limit, gives you a bit more room to create an army.

Just tested it with Nemesis - is there some option to lvl up units? (to gold possibly?)

Ok!! I finally checked the map and checked how to have the Shadow Elves in it. We don't even need to modify the map, you just need to play with the mod with the Shadow Elves and create a Leader with that race.

So... what I propose is that Nemesis and Abed each choose a class they want to play with the Shadow Elves and tell it to me, so that I can double check it to see if some units are not yet fully implemented (I thought none was implemented but I had a quick look and actually it seems like most class units are done already).
I'm going to send you a link to the mod + description of the unit by PM. Please do not share it for now as we're not even in alpha phase.

Please keep in mind we're very far from the definitive version of the arena. We still have a lot of work to do on it but the demo this Saturday is there to boost the morale of everyone and motivate us to move forward.
(also, we need to wait for Zaskow to be available to help code what needs to be coded, that's one big limiting factor)

Hello Abed,

It seems the creator of the Arena mod have linked this mod to a 4th one now! It was just a few days ago that Nemesis was able to test it and sent me his class/race and the units he wanted to use.

I will update the description with this 4th mod now.

@Markymark, you dont need the coat of arms mod, I just launched the mod/map without that specific mod.

Also guys, where can I find Elemental mod? Game cannot let me in only with those 3 mods you posted. Any more links for ther mods and setup?

I have some time tomorrow morning  to early afternoon (10-14 CET).

Or in the evening (19-22 CET) for a test run.

Before that I urge you to trial the map for yourself to get a feel for it and experiment with buying units. If possible also save the units and the price in a spreadsheet to make it easy to check and replicate.

In the test run you should obviously play a different class and race then what you want to play for the live event!

CapitaineYolo added the 3rd "observer" player to the map yesterday evening. You have to disable allied victory or he wins on turn 1. I have to add the Shadow Elf units to the map so that you can try them a bit, so I need to edit the map. I'll do that this evening.

I strongly suggest you do a test today or tomorrow to check many things:
1/ the map works as intended and you are able to start on the saves (you could even build your armies during the test, that will save time for Marcus)
2/ the connection of the host is sufficiently good and the others do not disconnect
3/ the stream works and the sound + video are ok

All of you are available the 3 hours of the event on Saturday?
