I was able to gain the giant dwelling in the middle of the map as a vassal. The offerings and quests allowed the growth of my armies with ogres. The first major engagement went my way with the ogres in my ranks. Though I did half of my primary army. I continued to push towards Gilafron's throne with the remaining force. Gilafron's second army defeated mine, but with heavy losses to his. I then focused on growing my empire and strengthening my second army. With the help of the giants, I was able to build a little faster than Gilafron. Before the final engagement I cast insect plague on two of his cities to slow his production. My production advantaged showed when our armies met for the final engagement.
