Then just surrender and don't post the scores.

It's not about you or your game. You don't know what are our criteria for score victory and if other players did the same as you and their judgement was erroneous, then it would be a big trouble because they would expect to win (or to lose) while they actually lost (or won) and one of the two player (or teams) would feel cheated.
Either you surrender, or you follow the rules. Otherwise you make the work of judges very hard and you create precedents we can't tolerate for other games.

What's the point, really ? I could see it if I was claiming victory or if it was by a close margin, but with these scores...I'll send you the global screenshot I made by PM.

All I want is to play nice games without thinking too much beyond the game, and above all without taking too much time. I have not made all the screenshots last night because of the huge gap between our scores. I don't want to spend too much time taking and sending dozens of screenshots. I'd need to get the copy of the saves I made to retake all the screenshots and that doesn't seem worth it.

I understand that you make all this to be fair and I thank you for the time you spend on this but in this case, I think it is too much. I clearly recognise my defeat ! 

For Skuns, no I did my best ; as I did not want the game to be too long I played some of my turns very quickly because I had little time and ended losing quite a few turns because of too quick decisions <smiletext0> But I don't feel that would have changed the outcome ; I was coming to get you but that would have taken a few turns before I could get to your cities.

The instructions were quite clear: take screenshots and send to JUDGES, not post on game blog. You’re not the one making decisions on who wins, etc.

You should to know that I had lost my leader twice for first 10 turns  So I was surprised to see your empty research book when we met. And you have now the decent stacks to attack, but you're sitting in defense. And few turns ago my leader's stack appeared too close from your domain borders. I took the naga dwelling there and wanted to produce units with regrowth near your domain   But then I found 2 your full stacks of Berserkers  I was lucky with scouting  So I had to retreat with my 8 units there with only 1 T3 unit   And also I had to raze naga dwelling to not allow you to take it. Though now I think that there was not any risk for it so maybe I hurried <smiletext0>  And you even not to clear the inn nearby and the spawn site there 
Now I gained the strength and I'm curious to continue to see who will win 

P.S. About screens - as for me personally, I believe to you that you did not come up with this stats. But this is the tourney and judges have not to rely on somebody's words. So Hiliadan's post below isn't the suggestion, it was the rules explanation I think 
P.P.S. It looks like that you had played not for your full strength. Have family responsibilities changed your gameplay?

Hi! I see I failed to post in your game blog 2 days ago. <smiletext6> What turn did you reach? 2 days left to end the game, cf. https://www.the-battlefield.c... />
The deadline is 2019-08-06 10:22 PM (GMT+3 if I'm not mistaken). For the player on slot #2 (so should be the host), he has to follow this procedure AFTER the deadline so that we can decide score victory:
1/ AFTER the deadline, the strategic turn is played until the last player in the turn order
2/ that player plays his turn, saves & quits, copy the save game to a backup folder
3/ that player re-enters the game and surrenders, then takes screenshots of all the scores (general, domain, research, military, happiness). He does NOT end the turn. Instead he quits the game without ending the turn.
4/ he sends the screenshots to judges (Marcuspers, Jonny Thunder and me)
5/ judges check the scores and take a decision

There are 13 days left and some games can get time extensions so it's seriously not the time to surrender because you're away for 1 week. Please play on and we'll see when the deadline arrives what is the situation in this match.

Hello, I'll be on vacation for a week, starting from tomorrow. I understand very well that we must not delay the tournament ; if the other matches are over, I suggest we declare Skuns' victory <smiletext0> We could still continue the game this way, without making the entire tournament late. 

I have absolutely no problems with that since it seems I'm not available enough for the matches.

You can set a 48 hours turn timer and stick to 24 hours most of the time. But if you don't manage to play your game within the duration of the round, then for round 2, it'll definitely mean you need a 24 hours timer.

People love to join random games so always put a password.

Hello, I saw your message but then I saw somebody had joined the game...Thought it was you so I concluded you had found the game later. I didn't think there were players so eager to join random games ! Sorry again. 

I read the messages here almost daily ; I saw the mail but the reply function doesn't seem to work. 


As for the timer, I agree to the necessity of having the game progressing quick enough and I can usually play many turns during my playtime, but the 1 day turn timer seems extreme to me. I work and have two young kids so it happens sometimes that I'm too tired to play ; if that means each time I have to contact you, it's too much. 

So if that's a rigidly established rule, I prefer to forfeit the match and give you my apologies for the time lost. If you wish to play anyway, I'll create again, with ",nottoolate" as the password.

Hi again. You didn't respond on battlefield site so I have to ask you by another way: what's happening? If someone else took my place in this session, you can continue to play it, of course. But you will have to host new one as the part of tournament.

P.S. Yeap, I know how difficult to set all the settings correctly. But after few times it becomes easier : ) 
P.P.S. Also you shouldn't forgot that the rules are harsh with regard to the turning on of the timer. I mean that 1 turn\day timer is not preffered time. It's rigidly established rule. We have to follow it. And we can change it (extend) by informing your opponents (me for now) in advance. Otherwise it may led to breaking rules :-( So if you know in advance that you can't play within 1 day, you have to inform me about that by any form of message (on site or by email) and extend the timer to comfort period.
P.P.P.S. Let me know which way is more working to contact you in such situations ;-)

Sorry for all the difficulties...I made an another game to fix this, because I couldn't fix Teams on this one.

@Sbiht  Sorry, we didn't start the match yet. So there is no rehost needed. You can fix existed game when you open it again, and will set "Teams" mark as On

P.S. Just in case, I left the session on the server for a while, that you could fix it without rehosting

I changed the status of this match on Ongoing because I didn't see it in My Games folder. And only after that it appeared there.

Yes, I meant that there were no teams for each player, so we didn't start the game at war. Well, it looks like we have to wait new rehost from Sbiht <smiletext6>

If it means you don't start at war, I'm sorry but a rehost is necessary because it can cause big troubles if you have an alignment based strategy or if Omen of the Dove occurs just when you were about to attack (and then you can't declare war).

In order to avoid advantaging one team or the other, for each match, the team who will host the match was randomly selected.
The first team in the "turn order" above (who is also the team on top in the tree here) must host the game.

Any of the players in the team can host.

When players do not show up for their match, the Tournament Judges have the right to change the match!

EDIT: you're not using the right mod. Please switch to the Tournament Edition mod (and not the main branch) for round 1: https://steamcommunity.com/sh... /EDIT

Another remaining issue is that you're on slot #1 and you should be on slot #2 as explained in the rules.
Could you please do one last rehost with you on slot #2 (as just changing slot usually cause bugs).

Also, for first turn, please remove turn timer as it causes bug. it can be added on turn 2.
