pretty good game for me - fun fighting 2 players at the same time. The AD class provides a lot of mobility and in this game it mattered so much. I was able to run the map and tag enemy towns and sites while slowing down both opponents and minimizing the mayhem they caused in the territory where i started the game.

Well I am learning that having so many vassals so early in a 4+ player game makes me a popular and easy target for other players. I need to adjust my strategy going forward. Good game. Best of luck to you two.

gg rrrrookie - it was a pleasure, gem of a game for me, hope it was entertaining and not too maddening. Sorry for the playstyle - i just wanted to turn the tables, but i know this might not be much fun for the opponent ); You showed me how having vassals all over the map in the first 20-ish turns can be devastatingly good - i didn't believe how you got ALL the towns/dwellings so fast (;

That was the turning point and the beginning of the end for rocket and I. I should have kept you chasing and summoned another phoenix (I have summon phoenix) before fighting. While I was disappointed with the result of the battle, I have been outplayed by you all game and you deserve to be the eventual winner.

Wow - i got lucky! I was blindly chasing rrrrookie's visible forces and i got hit with a lot more units then i anticipated. RNGesus was on my lucky side though - i watched the battle, not sure how it would have went if we controlled the field (i want Triumph to make a mod where we get to at least replay all our battles - like an arena mod or something...).

I liked you two better when you were at war );

So far this is very nice and fun game but my wits are coming to an end. Summoning Walking Trees takes 3 turns and it seems like even 100 casting points are not enough ): and you guys are good players so each small mistake i make is punished so hard ): If i lose - at least i knew we all had nice time (:

I have only finished 2 games but I think I learned a lot when gabthegab wiped me out at turn 15 one time. I think the real x factor in this game has been quietly lurking around in the tunnels.

Couldn't reach you in the water and i don't want to risk a fight that is not clearly in my favor - i don't trust the AI/RNG at all. I don't feel like i have to rush it - let's dance a little (;

i don't have a lot of exp. in pbem so any and all advice is greatly appreciated!

20 turns in and...... nothing has happened really. 4 people on a medium, underground map have to start bumping elbows at some point. Of course it is my turn and everything could have changed before I typed this.

seems like i'l learn a few new tricks here... while i'm struggling vs the map and all that strong defenders - someone cleared a 6 elementals stack...

- i'm feeling slow and lacking gold structures a bit );
- on the good side my stacks are developing very well (:

I have encountered all 3 of you now. Some of you I am getting along with better than others as I had to slaughter a stray boar which was becoming a potential problem : )

Side question: do I want to upload the save file now or when the game is over?

I couldn't do it without recreating the game so I started it : (((((. I hope it isn't too big of a deal. I do agree with your point though in that we want the game to be about building an army and not have armies of heroes duking it out.

I have absolutely no problem reducing the # of heroes. I will see if I can change that without affecting the game when I get home in a few hours.

The settings look good to me.

Most of the games I have played have been with 4 heroes.
Trying something new is good so I don't mind going with
less.

4 heroes is a bit much, imo - i'd prefer 2 (+ the leader, so it's 3)

strong defenders are ok, but i find it too good for exp. gathering and not really too hard for the players to beat and i'm somewhat inclined to ask for normal defenders in some game at some time - not sure if i do now (;

strong defenders AND auto battles = i'll never do it again!

Hey everyone. Glad you joined. I have created the game.

The name is rrrrookie's 4 player FFA
The password is ewokattack

No one has expressed any preference on game time so I left ALL the map settings default for the medium Continents map with underground. All other settings are default except:

Defender strength from NORMAL to STRONG
Maximum Heroes: 4
Max Level: 30


Beacon Victory: 2
Seal Victory: None

Based on the time preferences I believe the turn order should go 1.RocketRandom 2. xlnt 3. rrrrookie 4.Olop? I could just make myself first and xlnt last but I am a man of the people so I have inserted myself at third : )

Please let me know now if you have any concerns

4 player FFA
Hey guys I am itching to get back in the PBEM game so am getting a game together. I was thinking 4 player, medium size map with underground, and strong defenders. Besides that I am pretty flexible regarding map type and neutral cities etc. Even though the title says FFA working together is fine. Also all skill levels are fine. Join and discuss.
