Hey guys! rickyroo had a great idea: what about continuing our game after the deadline but only for fun? It's a shame to stop when the action is really just starting.

So, the end of round is in 5 hours 25 minutes. Two possibilities:
1/ if AlX, rickyroo and Eskild can play their turn before that, then we continue for round 36
2/ if not, then rickyroo is this game's last turn for the tournament

If 1/, then we'll see tomorrow when it's my turn.
If 2/, then rickyroo has to surrender to display the score. At the end of his turn, just before surrendering, he would save & exit. Then after he surrenders and takes all the screenshots of all scores (research, military, etc.), he can end AoW3.exe and reloads. He will have an Ironman notification.

I don't see another way to see the score without crashing the game and getting a notification. Let me know if you know any.

Precision on the application of the rule: after the deadline (today 23:59 CET, please see the countdown there: https://www.the-battlefield.c... players finish the ongoing turn (e.g. turn 23 of your game) and the last player in the turn order surrenders and takes the screenshot. The score of the turn that was ongoing at the moment of the deadline is used to decide the winners.

PS: I'm going to play my turn in about 2 hours.

Current round will end in about 54 hours. Rules say: "If neither of the players won 2 months after the start of the round, then one should surrender and take a screenshot of the score and provide it to the judges. The team with the highest (combined) score then wins the match. If scores are very close, the judges can decide that it is a draw and ask the players to replay the game with a shorter (for instance 1 month) deadline."

We are discussing exactly how to apply that with the 2 other judges.

Ok, just got feedback from the 2 judges (didn't have a vote on this) and we can continue. Both rickyroo and AlX's reloads are considered justified by adequate proof by the judges.

Hi guys! So rickyroo had a crash as he told you by PM (I think?). The 2 other judges told us to continue, they are not convinced by the proof provided because it lacked timestamp as rickyroo was not playing on Windowed mode. We're going to provide additional screenshots of the game in the same situation as the crash. In any case, we continue, and depending on what the judges say, we have either a "reload justified by adequate proof" or "not justified by adequate proof".

Eskild, I'm not sure if you can do anything about it, but if you can play your turn before 17h European time, that would allow me to play mine before 18h European time, after which I go to sleep. Otherwise, we'll be doing turns every 2 days... I exceptionally played my turn this morning before going to work but I cannot reproduce that. And I'm not even sure AlX will be able to play his turn before this evening European time so that may be useless...

Got a crash because I had the game open when I changed the connection to my screen from my work laptop to my personal laptop and it somehow crashed AoW3 (and then the screen stopped working and I was crazy because of that + the fact that I could easily have avoided that **crash by exiting while I plugged the screen <smiletext6>

).

I remove turn timer and report to judges. That pisses me off because I know that this crashes sometimes and I had actually left the game to avoid that, but then for no reason, I rejoined before the change of screen was completed.

IÂ´m heading for a summer cottage from saturday to sunday with my inlaws and might have problems with making my turn within the 24 hour time limit. Perhaps we can consider extending turn timer in that period (but not yet now).

Hi there.

Just wanted to notify that the game will progress very slowly from monday and a good bunch of time onwards. Myself is on holiday from tuesday the 26th to around the 6th of August. As itÂ´s a special holiday I canÂ´t promise in advance being able to take any turns in that period at all - but I will try to sneak the computer with me and see if I can make a turn once in a while.

AlX wrote me that he will be away from monday (the 25th) and for about one week.

Hope you can deal with that. Turning off the turn timer from around sunday. It would maybe be nice for me already now to have it changed to 2 days as weÂ´re throwing off a big party this saturday.
