No, you should not skip a turn. He should have warned you.
If you want to be nice, you can disable the turn timer to let him react, and maybe revert the turn so that he can play it.

Yes, it is. 
But Gila has missed his turn... Since he didn't give me any notice I didn't disable the counter (did that once previously on my own to allow him to play) - wasn't at my pc for about 10h in which the timer expired.
What should I do - continue as it is? or skip a turn of my own?

In order to avoid advantaging one player or the other, for each match, the player who will host the match has been randomly selected by the Battlefield website. The first player in the "turn order" above (who is also the player at the top in the tree here: http://www.the-battlefield.co... must host the game.
Please sign off when not playing!(Quit game)
When players do not show up for their match, the Tournament Judges have the right to change the match!
