Trying once again... nice team game this one - my first. I´ve tried to report it sometimes. I guess it should be solved now that all alliances seem to have been designated. Please comment on the game if you feel like it. Download
Game was very entertaining. Had a bad start but went lucky to stick my 2 best stacks together at the right moment. After the opposite army was still in reach, I charged them and got my first big win. Was hard to fight back for our enemies since Eskild was really good in levelling his animals and rushing into the feys.
Second team game I have played (first is still going).
It was fun. Â Starting out I choose the wrong direction. Not enough sites to build experience and ended up back tracking. Â My forces were not quite strong enough when the enemy team was engaged.
Trying once again... nice team game this one - my first. I´ve tried to report it a couple of times, now I succeeded thanks for helping me out guys. The alliances seem to have been designated correctly.
So two elven archdruid´s teaming up with theocrats with the upper hand in the end gained by Gladis and I. As always we probably had our unlucky moments, mine was definitely the loss of my first settlers to a bunch of scoundrels, even though I had it defended - not soundly, but it might have been possible.
The game has set up. As stated earlier screenshots of settings are on my Steam Profile "Euzekiel". We didn´t discuss whether to have beacons or seal victory on. Seals are off and I think I ended up with having beacons on at 2. If I should restart the setting up, let me know.
The password is "Scapegoat", Gladis you can join at any moment, followed by the others.
The game will be set up in the evening. I can team up with Gladis then and we´ll go for AABB so the join order will be easy. Just wait for Gladis to join in. I´ll report the final settings, when game is up and running. I will probably post screenshots on my Steam profile "Euzekiel" for you to see.

I would be fine with random selection.
In terms of teams, I'm fine with anything. If we wanted to pair up based on experience, I will say that I am quite experienced with AoW (400 hours), but mostly against AI - I have very little PVP experience. So, quite familiar with races/classes/etc, but probably not super good at dealing with players.
I think settler, long distance and strong defenders impede rushing, so this shouldn´t be a big problem? I habe no preferences in teams or turns. I always played AABB, but have no problem to try ABAB.
You could make teams and turn order here for allow the members to choose the races by agreement.
So we´ll try a landbased, settler/village start, with underground and the three sliders as mentioned beforehand. Far starting distance, few dwellings, cities and roads - and strong defenders of course.
Landbased are begging for rushes so maybe we should think this over. What do you think?
It seems like me, Gladis and Demonic Spoon are all CET from what I can see above. We could probably join in any kind of order but preferably with Olop joining last.
I don´t know what is best ABAB or AABB?
It would be nice to decide the teams beforehand so we can pick our race/class/specializations according to each other, or? The other option is to go random?
I can team up with anyone of you, no preference!
I have a pretty rough week schedule, so I´ll not stay up to manage the game start, at least until these unanswered questions are solved. Hope you understand this and don´t find it too annoying not to get started right on the minute.
If I have a clearcut idea after your comments I might do it early morning tuesday.

I like random selection, though choosing race/class is fine.
I can join in last, though it should not matter since I am the only
one in a different timezone. Â I have to go between two somewhere
in the order. Â

Most of the games I have played have been continents,
so landbased would be interesting.

But then landbased to be able to send troops to your ally
Teams? I´m in CET, too. So teams may should be depending on the turn-mode:
ABAB or AABB?
Eskild >> Suggestions for settings...
Settler, outpost or village start?
Landbased map or continents (water slider at 15-20%, walls in underground roughly the same, that is 15-20%)?
Any other preferences?
