Hey DrLight, I have issues with my computer, its shutting down uncontrollably often at the moment. I havent found the root cause yet.
Our game crashed when I did my turn. Just wanted to inform you. I can send you all the logs if you like. I did not do any fight, only moved units, and if its fine by you, I'll put the units to the places and just re-play the round as I did before.
Let me know.

I feel bad I didn't report this game earlier, I just have been super busy lately... and the other downside is that I lost some of my files and I don't have the screenshots I took.. I hope Zytozid has at least the score page.
I will try to be as descriptive as possible.
I played Theo Dwarf which for me, it is supposed to be my stronger combo... Zytozid played Sorcerer, high elf I think... both started on the surface, I played west and Zytozid was settled to the east.
I started pretty bad, in my first turn, I tried to take a forge, and I don't know what happened to me, but I lost my leader and my rider here... My morale was pretty bad from the get go. next turns I couldn't do much, just wait until my leader came back from the void. Then I tried to take another structure and I kept losing units. After that I decided to play with crusaders, so I built some and got them good experienced and for a moment I got good momentum, was able to exp up my hero and leader to a decent point. My resources were pretty bad, so it took me a while to manage a decent scouting.
Another downside was that my main city was isolated, I had to use many MP to get out of it, my vassal was divided by 2 rivers, so I had to go through 2 bridges, this was ridiculous, this was towards the northeast from my main, on the south side, I had mountains.
About halfway in the game I was able to scout him, then I realized that his second city had been captured by indies and I saw his forces and they were about the same as mines, I also noticed that he started to capture structures northwest from his main, so I decided to attack, it was all or nothing at this point. With this, I sent my leader, hero, some crusaders through the mountains to get a giant dwelling quest, and with convert, I started to convert some units, that gave me access to 2-3 T3 units, and I noticed Zytozid didn't have any T3 units at that point, so I felt that I had to flank him quick.
Unfortunatelly, the south side of his territory had a huge Vassal, that had a lot of field of view, which made me impossible to sneak attack him, I had to take that vassal first, which gave up my presence and he started to pull his forces from the northwest. This is where I lost the game, Zytozid, at this point now had 1 watcher as his only T3 unit, however, he had other 2 full stacks of T2-T1 units, vs my 2 stacks, I should've ran, he had the numbers, but for some reason, I didn't, so I stayed and I was defeated giving Zytozid just some minor losses.
On the other side of the board, I had my second hero that was leveling up with some crusaders, and it was going pretty well,, these were marching Northeast from my city to try to flank him from the other side... However, my bad luck in this game wasn't over yet. I f****king indie party with an undead Titan attacked me, I didn't even see at that point where the spawner site was, so I didn't see that coming, I lost all my units from that stack.
I was about to surrender at this point, but I had my first evangelist out, so I decided to stay and see if I coud get another MC run and get some units to attack again...
My leader back and an evangelist, some crusaders later, I started to march south again, with a wider route to get new structures and potential units. That was going pretty decently, but the game for me was over when I tried to take a dungeon.
It was a human dungeon, so I figured, it would be easy to convert at least 1 unit from there and then the reward, maybe 3 extra units. I only had converted a Phalanx, had the manticore next to my new phalanx and a couple MH left, the Phalanx was going to kill the Manticore, but I healed it with Iron Heart and it turn sides.... I wanted to hit my head to the wall so hard.... omg... I forgot the strongwill feat Iron heart gives.... so, then the manticore killed my leader, the phalanx my hero and my evangelist couldn't escape next turn, and it was killed too...
This is where I surrenderred.
Again, I'm sorry for such low performance, I made terrible choices in this game and I payed the consequences lol.
I don't want to undermine Zytozids victory and credit with my complaints, I believe the way he defended his territory was amazing and that gave him the victory.
Thanks for the game!

Thanks for the game!
DrLight hit with a first blow and took out one of my cities to burn it down, in turn lost his troops in our first big fihgt (although they still did surprisingly good against an overwhelming number of enemies - good troop setup). After both building up armies and reinforcing our troops in our territory DrLight had bad luck in a fight against independents where he broke his own charm on a unit with devastating conequences. In the end this led to him surrendering the game.
We will do a rematch for fun and see who will prevail, I assume DrLight will not be so easy on me this time and will prevail.
DrLight, thanks for the fair and exciting game!
Hi DrLigt, we can do a rematch but let's use a newly generated map, not the old one (:
Hey Zytozid...
Yes, I'm sure I had a chace to counter attack your support party... but I lost a T3 unit, my hero and leader. I had converted a phalanx in a dungeon and if I had won, I could've received 2 units that were marching towards you... again, I forgot that Iron Heart gives strong will so if you use it on a converted unit, it turns back to the AI, I got my phalanx ready to kill the manticore and instead I left my leader/hero next to a manticore and a phalanx....
There was no coming back from that... ...
I will try to write a report later this week, it will be a busy week... but I think I can start a rematch now if you want.
Hi DrLight, quite surprised that suddenly I won when I just started the game, weird!
I was about to start marching to your territory as soon as my "School of Enchantment" would have been researched. Hoardes of stunning supporters and several mind immune wyverns for the win. It would have been very exciting to see who would have won. It was a close match.
I was also surprised how you owned a metropolis so early in the game to get the achievement - how did you do that?
If it makes you feel any better: The exact mistake you made I made in a past game not long ago as well....an it cost me dearly. It's really easy to forget that iron heart will break the charm on a just charmed/converted/dominated unit...
I enjoyed our game but didn't expect to win. Maybe we should do a rematch for fun some day. Thanks for the good game!
I'm ready to concede the match... I made a terrible mistake that cost me my only chance to get a chance in the game back... Damn Iron Heart it turn my converted unit back to the enemy... and I killed my leader and hero with that move... with some other key units... Sorry for the bad game... I don't think I've played this bad in a very long time...
Thanks Zytozid! I liked how you defended your territory, I felt overconfident on taking your T2 units with my T3, but you had the numbers on your side.
Hi Hili,
We are at turn 15...

And don't get me wrong but turn time 1 day is crazy. What if I'm away for a weekend without access to my PC? I can't do my turn within 24 hours every time. I also have social commitments.
I think playing 3 games parallely with a longer turn timer should work just fine...
I'll remove the timer, and I'm already playing with Moridin and Skuns, so I guess our group could even be the first one to finish, I don't see an issue with playing 2-3 turns per week..
Well I could play these games simultaenously @Hiliadan. so It would be doing my turns for three games every week. Does that sound better?Skuns already said he'd be ready to start our match right away and I already played funmatches with moridin so setting this up shouldnt be a problem. We'll be through in 9 months, no problem. Guess I'll also have more time in the winter.
Zytozid, if you can only make 1 turn every week, that won't make it for the Championship. 3 games need to be completed within maximum 9 months. 1 turn per week won't make that possible.
So please confirm now your availability, otherwise I'm afraid it's probably best to drop out of the tournament and instead play games outside of it where 1 turn per week is not an issue.
