After Evgendil's scouts lost a few early battles to MadJon (Jonny Thunder), he got tiered of being bullied and gathered his armies and went towards MadJon's cities. On his way he met MadJon and a few of his companions, but they underestimated the strenght of Evgendil's army and was outnumbered. With MadJon in the void Evgendil marched for his enemies Throne. Olop sent reinforcements, but without a wall around his city, their efforts was in vain. In round 22 Evgendil eliminated MadJon. Mac The Penguine Lord (Me) had a hard time to find a good path towards Olopia's base, but with Evgendil keeping the opposition busy on the Western part of the map, The Penguine Lord could take one vassal after the other from Olopia. A decisive battle between 4 stacks (3 1/2 perhaps) of Olopias troops vs 3 full stacks of Evgendil resulted in one lonely survivor in a Dread Spider Queen from Evgendils side. In turn 28 The Penguine Lord rushed to Olopias throne where he only faced 3 orcs.
Ok guys, i created a medium map with underground, all settings average (exept i choose starting distance far). Following mod is needed: "Unofficial balance mod from vasyan666(version for pbem), you can find it in the workshop under "newest" I hope everyone is fine with the settings, feel free to tell me if you wish otherwise. Name is "Battlefield 2vs2 rematch" and pw "rematch" Looking forward to see you there :-)
As far as map size goes, I am willing to play any.
I agree a large map with both is a big world, which means it may take awhile before the game gets interesting (find the enemy and begin the real battles.)

I have played a couple of games with mods before. Â Just have to remember to turn the mods off/on before playing each game. Â When don't have the right mods turned on, you won't be able to select the pbem game. Â I believe it shows you a list of the mods required for the game when you scroll over it.
I have not looked at the mods coming from the tournement discussion, but would be willing to try.
Hi guys. As for the unofficial mods, I`m conservative and don`t use them. But the limiting ghoul curse ability seems reasonable to me (not with all the changes in this mod I agree). I agree to use this Mod in rematch, if I can easily return to the official version.
Hi Jonny, I see no problems with a large map or underground. But both might be a bit much. What do you say about a medium map with underground? If everyone is OK with playing with the Mod, I have no objections. I must say though, that I have never played with a Mod, and are a bit unsure if I need to download/activate something?
Hey guy, nice match. I focused too much on expanding and economy, with poor results. I would host the next one, large map, with underground. What do you guys think about trying the pbem balance mod?

2 Experienced players looking for like minded. Too many times I've started games to see one player leave after a few turns when luck is against you. Lets try if we can find some committed players here.
I've created the game in Age of Wonders PBEM - The Battlefield 2vs2 - So far it's just me and my teammate Evgendil that are there. Do you guys want to team up? All settings are set to default.

Though my teammate dropped dropped out (around turn 50)
