I got lucky in this game with dwelling quests (giant dwelling gave me three quests after vassalization, each for two ogres, for a total of six ogres), dungeon rewards (three dungeons each gave me 2x T3's) and conversions (got some warbreeds with lesser convert). Meanwhine, Badok was still getting used to the tournament rules, and lost his army a couple of times. After seeing my armies, he offered to concede and I accepted. I did get to test my combo and Badok reported he learned a lot, so the game was a success. Badok also did a good job denying my scouting in this game. Definitely a player with lots of potential, I feel I'm in for a real challenge in my next game with him :p

I tried to find ways to tip the scales to my favour, but by turn 20-25 the game was too far gone. When I saw that enemy heroes were way ahead of mine, his every fort well guarded I decided to surrender - no sneak attack would get me out of this one. By the end of the game all I could do was sniping down his scouts (or rather sending my scouts on suicide missions against his, dread scouts are nasty) and waiting for inevitable defeat - there was no point in dragging this on any further.
All in all, a very educational game - and a pleasant opponent. Looking forward to a rematch

...I'm not above twisting the truth, however, so if we ever play a truly competitive game you can feel free to doubt my words ;>.
That said...
"Having proudly announced that I'm alive and well, let's use my boosted confidence to take this risky battle!"
- Me, about to make my life much more difficult
Good to hear you've recovered from your poor start, even though I never take these things at face value, since mind games are part of the game and you should never buy into your opponent's propaganda Being an honourable gentleman I always speak the Absolute Truth but you wouldn't believe some of the scoundrels on this site!
"My opponent told me he had a bad start so I guess I can try taking this one risky fight that I otherwise wouldn't"
-Me, famous last words
Anyhow, how is it going? After my embarassing first turn I seem to be coming back on track .
DW about Hili, he has resurgence.
