Congratulation.

We found us near the fairy cities and lost the battle, then the game was pre-decided, lost all heroes and nearly all Units.
After this blackcat are fighted alone and had no Chance more.
Had only less cities (2 later three, lost one to Indies/Klaus)

In the last battle i was too late in my moves.
blackcat was alone and was beaten.
The game was then lost finally.

After some scout fights and the leave of one player per team the rest of us lead their main part of their units in the middle of the map. There Earl and I were able to put a major defeat above our enemies with our main stacks after they defeated some units of ours. Due to this critical success we were able to defend the fey housing in the middle, which was conquered and lost a couple of times by scouting-units.
The enemies couldn´t recover and we went further to the ememies´ borders and conquered two cities of the AI which we were able to defend in decisive manner. After rolling on stack after stack and summon more and more units (T3 and T4) we were simply unstoppable.

Maybe some unbalanced map-characteristics with water and rapids as well as the leave of the two players made the game unwinnable for our enemies, but I enjoyed it  My huge and widely spread army with excellent teamwork (Earl provided a lot of strategic lightning storms and complemented my army very well - as well as helped to satisfy the huge upkeep of my human soldiers) made the difference.
If I wouldn´t have got the possibility of summoning fire elementals there would have been more work for Earls horrors.

I got some troubles at work, sorry for the delay.
I hope to send the game today or tomorrow.

Steam doesn't switch to beta automatically, you must select/unselect it.
The beta solves a lot of bug, expecially for PBEM game, and this is the reason we prefer to use it.
We solved this "problem" creating 2 Windows account: one with Steam/AoW3 standard and one with beta enabled.

Good look to everybody!

Edit: the "double win account" is under test, probably wont work

Thanks guys for being patient with us poor GOG'ers ;-). Almost all of my games have ended prematurely because of the open-beta patch thing, and I'm just aching to finally get a game going beyond the initial stages :-)

Ok, I've reverted it twice, Hawk, Hannibal make sure you open it with 1.555 installed. Tx

Yes, that would work. You can revert the game until the start of the turn of the one who had used the open-beta. Then, after he has changed the game version back to 1.555, he can replay the turn, and all should be fine!

Ok guys, we have a problem (that caused this delay).

Warlord Keldon cannot open the game with 1.555 as it says it requires a newer version...

My guess is someone opened and uploaded the turn with the open beta installed thus updating the game to that version for everybody.

I'm not sure how to fix this.

If I do a revert (or a couple) will the game go back to 1.555?

SpiritSeeker I think you're more knowledgable than me in this, do you know if it will work?

I had a tough lie here as I was tucked in the corner with not much room to move. It is worth noting that I was halfling rogue and not human rogue. Not sure if I should challenge or something to fix or I doubt it is worth fixing at this point.

I lost my cavalry early on and then got caught by an enemy wizard.  I played really bad.  But, it was fun for the five or so rounds that I was around.
