We started and both pretty early saw that there was a dragon dwelling between us. I rallied there, bought their favour, made a quest and then hoped to buy them as vassal. In return I had postponed my expansions. Unfortunately he got the dwelling first and I never recovered from that. I tried, but as can be seen from the score screen he was dominating basically the whole game. In the end I got the dwelling but blatantly underestimated how long it'd take him to come there... I split my army, he came and mopped up then I yielded.
Well played Darkrider you clearly deserved to win this match! Good luck in the rest of the tournament.

I will be on vacation from 26th to the 5th. I hope I will be able to play from time to time, but I am not sure how the reception will be in rural Ireland.

Hi everyone.
Tomorrow I´m getting married and will be going on a holiday from tuesday the 26th and onwards - approximately 2 weeks until the 9th August. Therefore, I will not be taking my turns very often, maybe not at all in this and that period. I hope for your understanding in these matters.

Game is hosted and up and running. The password is "pace". Below you can find screenshots of the hosting process, which reveals all settings.
Remark that we will use the PBEM balance mod by Zaskow - the version for PBEM. Formal alliances are not allowed, therefor participants have been granted a team number. Seal victory is on, but the count is quite high. I prefer people joining to not come from the same "clans" registered on this site.
Beginners are welcome, but of course don´t rage quit!
